Ross Thomson BA(Hons), PGDip(Painting), PGCE.
Ross graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in the late 1980's and has been painting and exhibiting regularly alongside teaching art. He is currently Principal Teacher of Art and Design at Boroughmuir High School, Edinburgh.
Ross is a founder tenant of the WASPS studios in West Park Place, Edinburgh where he is based.
Working mainly in oils and watercolour, Ross's pictures focus on landscape, and the strong mood and atmosphere created by light and space at varing times of day.
